Nominations Sought For Life & Honorary Fellowship of The College


The College of Optometrists is seeking nominations for Life and Honorary Fellowship of the College.
 
Life Fellowships are awarded to Members for whom there should be clear evidence of important contributions made during a lifetime’s service to the profession. 
 
Honorary Fellowships are awarded to non-Members who have demonstrated clear evidence of a real and important contribution to the profession of optometry. 
 
College Members may make nominations in accordance with the Standing Order which outlines the procedures and criteria for nominations, and the election process. Members are therefore requested to forward details of candidates you wish to nominate for consideration by the Electoral College. 
 
Please submit your nominations in strict confidence to the President, in his capacity as Chairman of the Electoral College Wingyee Chan, Clerk to Council. 
 
Please remember to attach details of the nominee's contribution with your nomination.  Nominations received without sufficient evidence of the nominee's contribution will not be considered.
 
The deadline for submission is 12 noon on Friday 1 August 2008.
