Your next free member CET event in the East Midlands region will take place in Kegworth on Thursday 18 May from 6pm.

You will participate in an interactive peer discussion based around a brand new filmed case scenario on a routine eye examination. You will also take part in practical exercises during the evening to include the use of record cards and voting pads.
 
The discussions will be supported by a trained facilitator and based around a College case study.
 
A buffet will be available at the start of the event, giving you an opportunity to network with colleagues and College representatives. The events remain free of charge for College members.

Expected timings for the evening:

7.00pm       Peer discussion and practical exercises part 1
8.00pm       Refreshments and networking
8.20pm       Peer discussion and practical exercises part 2

Further details

The peer discussion session will help optometrists improve their standards of patient care by discussing cases that are based on real practice with a small group of fellow clinicians.

The peer discussion session is only open to fully qualified members. Non-members, students and pre-registration optometrists are not permitted to attend.

Although the event is free of charge to College members, it is vital that you register in advance.
