David is the Clinical Quality Lead on the Bexley Clinical Commissioning Cabinet. His remit is quality assurance of commissioned services as well as optometric/ ophthalmology pathway redesign. He is the South East London Clinical Lead for the new 111 pathway, Optometric Adviser for diabetic retinopathy screening to Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich PCT's and also works in independent practice and in a hospital in South East London. David is a Trustee of the College/AOP Benevolent Fund, a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and has been awarded Honorary Life Membership of Vision Aid Overseas.

Kavi Kotecha qualified from Anglia Ruskin University in 2009 . He has recently invested into a new independent practice and is Clinical Director. He is a visiting supervisor for Anglia Ruskin University's Optometry clinic.
Krupa Patel graduated from Aston University in 2005 and completed her pre-registration period with a well known multiple company the following year. Since then she has continued working with this company and has been employed in roles including practice management and more recently as a clinical support Optometrist. She is passionate about developing and coaching other team members and peers, but her key clinical interests lie in paediatrics and contact lenses. She is a member of her local optometric committee and supports their drive to enhance direct referral services and local shared care schemes. Krupa will be sitting on the research committee.

Noreen qualified from Anglia Ruskin University and is currently practising as a senior optometrist for a multiple in North West London. She has worked as a pre-registration supervisor for over 5 years and has been a visiting supervisor for City University's Contact Lens Clinic. Noreen is a member of the local optical committee. She has a keen interest in contact lens work and member of BCLA. She is currently undergoing an MSC in Clinical Optometry from City University.

Since graduating from the University of Wales College of Cardiff in 2000, Sonal has held both hospital and practice-based roles. Sonal currently works as Eye Health Development Adviser to RNIB's Prevention of Sight Loss Programme, providing clinical and professional input into research projects, policy consultations, and media campaigns. At present, she is studying for an Msc in Public Health with the University of Leeds, and as a special interest in addressing health inequalities, and the needs of communities who are at greater risk of developing sight loss. She is a member of NHS Evidence External Reference Group, and the Vision 2020 Black and Minor Ethnic Low Vision Sub Group. She has worked abroad with charity Global Vision, holding clinics in Romania and India.
