David is the Clinical Quality Lead on the Bexley Clinical Commissioning Cabinet, having previously been Chair of the Professional Executive Committee of Bexley Care Trust. His remit is quality assurance of all commissioned services as well as optometric/ ophthalmology pathway redesign. He is Chair of the 111 Programme Board for NHS South East London, Optometric Adviser for NHS Diabetic Eye Screening in Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich, and also works in independent and hospital practice in South East London. David is a Fellow of the European Academy of Optometry and Optics, a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and has been awarded Honorary Life Membership of Vision Aid Overseas.

Following graduation from City University, London Joy Myint has had a diverse career having worked as an optometrist in High Street practice (employed, franchisee, domiciliary and laser eye surgery), the HES, for ITV PLC, as a PCT optometric advisor, for City and Islington College, as an external assessor for Canterbury Christ Church University and ABDO College and for the RNIB and UK Vision Strategy. She is currently a Research Fellow and Visiting Lecturer at City University, London, an Examiner and Assessor for the College of Optometrists, an examiner for WECI/WOPEC, a tutor for Alliance Boots, a Senior Associate Lecturer with Clearview Training, Faculty Tutor with The Vision Care Institute, Johnson & Johnson Medical Ltd UK and an International Visual Impairment Classifier for the IPC. She is a member of the Ophthalmic Public Health Research Group at City University, the Glaucoma Special Interest Group, and the Glaucoma Alliance; and is an external reviewer for three journals. She was the fourth person to be awarded the Fellowship by Portfolio by the College of Optometrists.

Kavi Kotecha qualified from Anglia Ruskin University in 2009 . He has recently invested into a new independent practice and is Clinical Director. He is a visiting supervisor for Anglia Ruskin University's Optometry clinic.
Krupa Patel graduated from Aston University in 2005 and completed her pre-registration period with a well known multiple company the following year. Since then she has been employed in roles including practice management and regional clinical support and more recently as Professional Education Manager for CIBAVISION UK & IRE. She is passionate about developing and coaching others, but her key clinical interests lie in paediatrics and contact lenses. She is a member of her local optometric committee and supports their drive to enhance direct referral services and local shared care schemes. Krupa will be sitting on the research committee.

Sheetal is an optometrist and Independent Prescriber who has worked within independent and multiple practices. Currently she is working between Canada and the UK and is in the process of completing an MSc in Clinical Optometry with City University.
Previously, Sheetal has taught as a visiting Clinician at City University and has practised in Hospital Optometry and Refractive surgery. Sheetal is also a faculty member of Johnson & Johnson Visioncare Institute, a BCLA Council member and a College of Optometrists assessor.
