Dr Anna Kwartz MCOptom
Anna qualified from the University of Manchester in 1993 and has worked in both the hospital and primary care settings. Currently, she works as a locum optometrist and also provides pre-registration training and continuing education. She is a College Assessor and Examiner and is a member of the College Research Committee.

Dr Cindy Tromans PhD BSc MCOptom DipTp(AS) DipTpIP(SP)
President
Cindy is President of the College. She is a Consultant Optometrist in the Department of Optometry at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and also lectures at the University of Manchester. Cindy is a College examiner, a College Trustee and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Shane Canning BSc(Hons) MCOptom
Shane graduated from UMIST in 1989, is a practising optometrist and Pre-Registration supervisor. He is currently a Specsavers joint venture partner, in both Optical and Hearcare businesses, based in both Birkenhead and Wallasey. He sits on the College of Optometrists Membership and Standards Committee and at a local level is a member of the Wirral Local Optometric Committee.
