Colin graduated from Aston University in 1987. He completed his pre-registration year in an independent practice in Bristol, then moving on to work for Boots for 10 years. In this time he was a pre-regisatration supervisor, and became a College Examiner. He has since returned to the independent sector working in practice in Lewes, East Sussex. At the moment he is a Senior Assessor for the College, covering the South East region, and he is an Examiner for the College in the OSCE exams. Colin is a member of East Sussex LOC, and is currently working towards his Independent Prescribing qualification. Colin sits on the Education Committee.
Vice President
Kamlesh is Vice President of the College. He qualified in 1990 and has developed wide experience of Optometry having worked a variety of roles within eye care; most recently industry. He is currently the Head of THE VISION CARE INSTITUTE®, UK at Johnson and Johnson Medical Ltd. Kamlesh is a member of the Education Committee and Chairman of the College’s Board. Amongst other College roles Kamlesh is a College Examiner and sits on the Final Assessment Panel.

Rasmeet qualified from The University of Manchester in 1998 and subsequently completed her MSc in Clinical Optometry at City University in 2008. She is currently Deputy Head of Optometry at Oxford Eye Hospital where she holds clinical, management and teaching responsibilities. Rasmeet is a part time visiting examiner for the University of Manchester and an external assessor for the Welsh Eye Care Initiative in Low Vision. She is a member of the Education committee.
Sanjay qualified from UMIST in 1991 and currently works in high street practice as a joint venture partner. He sits on the Specsavers Professional Advancement Committee and is a College Trustee. Sanjay is also the Chairman of DOCET and Chairman of the College's Membership and Standards Committee.
