Visiting the BOA Museum

The British Optical Association Museum is open to the public most week days, by prior appointment, and we are delighted that you would like to come and see us.

You can access the museum in three ways. You may visit our formal display, study our reserve collections or arrange a tour of the College Meeting Rooms (also known as a 'Building Tour'). The first two options are free of charge but there is a fee to go on a Building Tour.

Please read the information relevant to your circumstances (Individuals or Groups) before making your appointment.

We are currently experiencing high demand for visits. We are therefore unable to offer same-day appointments. Please contact us to book your visit a minimum of 24 hours in advance (not including weekends) and be sure to check the list of unavailable dates on our appointments page.
