'It's a bug's life' - a microbe's journey around the cornea.
Saj Khan is a fellowship trained Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in corneal, refractive and anterior segment surgery. His NHS practice is based at The Corneoplastic Unit and Eye Bank, Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. He is also in practice at Centre for Sight, East Grinstead and London, where he additionally provides a comprehensive range of premium laser and lens based refractive surgery. He undertakes all manner of corneal surgery including high risk penetrating and lamellar corneal transplantation, stem cell transplantation, intracorneal ring surgery, and corneal collagen crosslinking. Mr Khan is regularly involved in the training of other ophthalmic surgeons, optometrists and nurses and is a reviewer for the Journal of The Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Double trouble - the management of diplopia in optometric practice
Biography:
Simon Frackiewicz began his career in eye care as an orthoptist working at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. After a number of years in practice, he returned to university to retrain as an optometrist. He is currently a partner of two busy independent optical practices in South Somerset and continues to work part-time as an orthoptist at Yeovil hospital. Simon delivers many web-based and face-to-face BV tutorials for a number of pre-registration training programmes.
Rajrishi Sharma, Optometrist and Ophthalmologist from Glasgow ran the gonioscopy workshop.
