You will shortly receive an invitation to renew your membership of the College. Please ensure you complete the relevant forms and return to the College with your payment before 1 October 2010.

You will also receive a copy of a booklet which gives you an overview of the benefits of College membership and explains more about our work and some of our key achievements over the last year. We remain committed to delivering the highest possible levels of support to members and ensuring membership offers excellent value.

In 2010 we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the College. It has been a very busy and productive year. We ran the first ever Independent Prescribing assessment, launched our new CPD scheme, piloted a series of free regional member events, re-launched an improved version of the College website, published a more user friendly version of our Guidance, developed a new public affairs strategy, commissioned two major new research projects, developed Joint Guidance on the
referral of glaucoma suspects and consolidated changes to the Scheme for Registration, ensuring a comprehensive and fair assessment process for new trainees. This work would not have been possible without your support.
