7. DIY Eye Health Risk

   With many people expected to use the August Bank Holiday as a chance to catch up on those DIY tasks around the house and garden, eye experts at the College of Optometrists are urging people to protect their eyes in the process.

8. Renew your Membership

   You will shortly receive an invitation to renew your memberhship of the College. Please ensure you complete the relevant forms and return to the College with your payment before 1 October 2010.

9. Open House - visit our College

   31 August 2010

   Our annual open day will take place on Sunday 19 September between 1pm and 5pm. The open day is a rare opportunity to visit the College's fine Georgian building outside of normal working hours and a chance to explore the extensive displays of the British Optical Association Museum.

10. College of Optometrists welcome President of the African Council of Optometry

    31 August 2010

    The College has offered to provide President of the African Council of Optometry Dr Uduak Udom, with office accommodation during her fellowship programme which is to take place from the end of September to 10 Decemeber 2010.
