How to pay

Annual subscription is due on 1 October each year and this year, for the fourth year in a row, there has been no increase in membership fees. There are three convenient ways to pay:

  • Credit/debit card - we accept most major credit/debit cards via our secure online site or over the phone.
  • Direct debit - choose a single payment or spread the cost with quarterly or monthly payments.
  • Bank transfer - the quick and easy way to pay.

Claiming tax relief

If you pay your own subscription to the College of Optometrists, you can claim tax relief on the annual fee at your marginal % rate of tax. This could significantly reduce the cost of your subscription. You can make claims for tax relief in arrears for up to six years. Please contact your tax office with any queries.

If you are already a member, you can renew your fees in My Membership.
