CET/CPD in Therapeutics

CET Requirements

City University CET/CPD

City University is currently developing a Medicines Support web resource, funded by the Central LOC Fund and the College of Optometrists, which will contain CET and CPD opportunities in prescribing.  This can be found at:   http://www.med-support.org.uk
 

Peer Review Groups

Optometrists on the Therapeutics register may wish to set up a Peer Review Group in order to receive specialist CET points. College members are eligible to join the College’s Peer Review Group Programme. By joining this programme the College will register your group with CETOptics, and send you an information pack containing advice for convenors, sample case records, a peer review group questionnaire, a sample certificate of attendance and a guide to submitting a CET application.
 
A small administration fee of £5.00  will be levied. This is to cover costs incurred by the College in setting up the CET accounts with Vantage Technologies. This is a one-off fee, however, which means that by joining the College programme you will not need to pay the £45.00 annual fee to Vantage.
