About the journal 

The College's research journal, Ophthalmic & Physiological Optics (OPO), first published in 1925,  is a leading international interdisciplinary journal that addresses basic and applied questions pertinent to contemporary research in vision science and optometry. OPO publishes original research papers, technical notes, reviews and letters and will interest researchers, educators and clinicians concerned with the development, use and restoration of vision.

The website www.whatshotoptometry.org gives free access to selected papers from three top-ranked international optometry journals:

  • Clinical and Experimental Optometry, the journal of the Optometrists Association Australia, New Zealand Association of Optometrists, and Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists
  • Optometry and Vision Science, the journal of the American Acadmey of Optometry
  • Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics, the journal of the College of Optometrists.

Members of the College just need to log in to access all of OPO online. For the other two journals, you'll need your Athens password - it will give you full access to the whole journal.
