Summary

Clinical Management Guideline. All conjunctival scarring is, by definition, 'cicatricial'; but the term 'cicatrising conjunctivitis' is generally reserved for scarring in which there is significant tissue shrinkage, usually with distortion of the fornices and/or the lids.
