Mar 25, 2005 22:57:27 well u have to know the uses n how they wrk a scan b scan etc will usually get asked at the end if there is time. dont worry abt it too much, done IT 3 times not a very big thing. learn it at the end afta everything else. make sure u know the visual pathway inside out, upside dwn - make sure u can draw n label it n dont forget the pituitary gland! |

RE: Investigative tech
Mar 27, 2005 13:30:10 I just did my IT down at Anglia and the first thing the bloke asked me was about ultrasound and the different types, then colour vision and then contrast sensitivity and finally the visual fields. So they mix it up anyway they like. |

Mar 27, 2005 22:09:52 These are not pass/fail questions. Remember they want to see that you are safe to practice. Just know a little bit about them but make sure you know your visual fields, colour vision, slit lamp, tonometry etc inside out. |
