I had a male patient who gave all deficient responses on Ishihara up to plate 21 then could not see the digits on diagnostic plates 22-25. Does this mean he was incompletely deficient? What classification would he be in? HELP! (The test was done under a daylight source.)

Didn't have a city test, pretty confident that he wasn't a malingerer

The digits on the diagnostic plates are not very helpful. They classify most patients as deutans. Don't worry if the patient couldnot see them. He has a red/green cv defect. The only way to classify definitely as protan/deutan is with an anomaloscope.
