Often just monitored with regular field tests initially. Even if asymmetrical IOPs many ophthalmologists will not treat if discs and fields are ok.

The glaucoma consultant I work with is quite keen on argon laser trabeculoplasty for PDS and pseudoexfoliation patients, as his experience is that it works well in these pts, and often they do not require topical treatment afterwards.

Is the px under HES review?

Where i work most ophthalmologists will keep such a px on their books irrespective of any other pathology.
