what is the Rx required for the issue of a complex voucher. Can't find it anywhere. Iknow the value £12.40.

actually... what if only one of the eyes has an Rx over or = to 10.

Eg: R)-9.00DS L)-10.50DS

Can I still issue complex. What about for cyls

Yep even if only one eye combined cyl and axis is above +/- 10 DS then you can use complex voucher.

 

i.e. if Rx in one eye is:

-8.50 / -2.00 x 180, this can be transposed to:

-10.50 / +2.00 x 90

 

therefore more then -10 dioptres, other eye can be any power.

Bear in mind complex lens voucher is not available in addition to standard voucher if pt already gets this. It's only for pts who don't get voucher otherwise.
