What actually causes the corneal oedema seen in closed angle glaucoma. Is it due to the high pressures, causing the iris to bulge out.iris bombe....and this effecting the endothelial pump..am not sure??

not sure about the iris bit. I would have thought a simple pressure gradient would cause endothelial pump function to break down, ie. too much pressure in the anterior chamber to work against. Not an expert on this though.
