how does silicone hyrdogels help with dry eyes if there is no correlation between higher oxygen levels to the cornea and dry eye

low water content therefore less dehydration

Pretty good wettability too once surface coated

Receent lecture at the BCLA suggested that dry eye symptoms were as a result of lack of oxygen to the cornea and therefore increacing o2 will help.
