look in contact lens complications,they a combo of stuff like lipids,calcium i think

Exactly that.Thought to be mainly lipids and could be linked to diet?High cholesterol & alcohol are thought to be contributors.Was a problem with HWC lenses but generally resolved by more frequent replacement of lenses.We have seen a greater number of such deposits with silicone hydrogel lenses.

I would guess a simple "google" search would throw up a few hits?

If you do see them in monthlies it is probably due to the Px not rubbing & rinsing before putting them away.

 

So replace the lens and instruct the Px to rub & rinse from now on.
