Hirji course is excellent and geared up for re-sits. Advert is on AOP website and in optometry today or just do a google search. Good luck

PQE pack from Replay Learning was quite informative and for only £60 is a bit better value.

Sorry to hear that Sophie but it is not the end of the world and you neeed to get going again straight away. I have no magic ideas on courses but Occupational and drugs are bookwork exams so you need to read the examiners comments with care and concentrate on the identified areas of weakness (without forgetting all the other stuff that you knew!).

CR you'll need to rewrite or use completely new records for the ones the examiners identified as poor but don't forget to read through the others as well and make any adjustments necessary. Depending on the severity of the comments you may need to do major rewriting or just small tweaks but get as many people as possible to look through them and preferably not people who said they were OK before!

Routine is just practice make sure you have a clear idea what you did wrong and practice that until it is second nature. Get someone to sit in with you as much as possible and give constructive feedback. Try and identify clear time points where you should be in the routine e.g. after 15 minutes starting ophthalmoscopy etc. so that you can get the timing better.

Do not despair, I passed all three of my resits many moons ago and colleagues passed five in one go so it is very possible!

I failed five and then passed the five resits. Knew of someone who failed seven and then passed all the resits at the next sitting!!
