i am doing CE on CL material and the question is what is human eye temp.?,i believe it is same has human body temp i.e. 36.8C

Any one with answer?

question is:

DK is greater at which temperature:

A)85

B)75)

C)65

D)55

 

What answer would you give,i have never come across such question before.

i think from what i can remember that as temperature increases dk will go up. therefore DK would be highest at 85 (degrees C) i dont think human eye is 36.8C its more around ~20C. this is the temp we use to verify a soft lens. (due to shape changes at different temps. hope that helps but answer is definetly in contact lens manual - judith morris.

Although...

 

As temperature rises, the ability of oxygen to dissolve in a liquid decreases. For example, cold water has more oxygen dissolved in it than hot water. Therefore wouldn't Dk be higher at lower temperatures?
