The College of Optometrists

Has anybody got their resit dates?.. I know they said 2nd week in August... but I have have had no reply!!

spoke to the college on thursday. They now reckon the dates will be sent out either tomorrow or tuesday but don't hold your breath!!!

i still do not know yet. good luck mates....

What is going on with the college?!?!

it's really unfair on us to have to wait this long for the dates - as if it's not stressful enough to have resits. I will not be able to get holiday leave for revision/exams now, it'll have to unpaid and my employers are getting a bit narked too.

When will we find out?!

It's ridiculous.

Ditto...My employers have been asking me on a daily basis,when my exact exam dates are. Need to book hotel/BB; plan journey route; time off from work; not to mention study leave and shere mental preparation!!

The examination timetables were sent out on Tuesday 16/8/05 & Wednesday 17/8/05 to the address which candidates entered on their EX2 form. I apologise to those candidates who sumitted their EX2 forms on time for the 2 day delay in sending out their timetable. Unfortunatley, a significant amount of applications where submitted after the deadline creating the delay for everybody. With 460 candidates needing resits, the College had less than 2.5 weeks in order to complete the whole timetabling process. I can say that 94% of candidates have been timetabled to receive their first choice centre.

Thank you Gregory... got confirmation of exam dates this morning. Yes.. got my first choice, now have two and a half weeks to get ready.
