RE: Any ideas???
Aug 26, 2005 19:30:49 I was reading Review of Optometry and came across an article discribing orbital lymphoma. This will give a decrease in myopia as you discribe. My initial thought was a cortical cataract, I have seen changes in refraction with that also.

RE: Any ideas???
Sep 02, 2005 22:25:56 true - it would - but more commonly would be idiopathic ematropisation - ie the eye goes long sighted on its own and overshoots ematropia. It could be also caused by thickening of the choroid or any number of other causes. Not common - but seen it before. Refractive management is covered by the Optical Ten Commandments on the net talk site. |
