if we are not level 2 exempt are we still allowed to store pilocarpine?

no ! - this is a chnage. Not allowed to use pilocarpine or atropine

pilo is nasty stuff anyway - so no loss there. It was used to shorten dilation - but had risks of acute angle glaucoma as well as in glaucoma treatment. No patient has admitted to me to being on it for years now.

Atropine is pretty well obsolete in private practice.

Pilo was very useful in the period between arranging prophylactic PI and having it carried out.

 

The question as I understand it relates to Pilo that was suplied before the regs changed.

 

My understanding is that posession of legally supplied under previous legislation Pilo is not illegal, but its use would be.
