1) For a -8.00D myope how much prism can be tolerated i.e. how much can the P.D. be off by (horizontally) until the pt. can no longer tolerate it

2) Does anyone know if Hard design varifocal lenses are dispensed. If so, what type of lenses (names) are available?

for q1 you will have to look it up in th british standards - not sure where mine is and am not at work this week

for q2, we use varilux liberty and experts as hard designs. hard designs are very much still available

for Q2 there r only a few true hard designs and sola graduate is one of them. look in the lens availability book, thats the bible most DO's refer to!
