i have a px who has worn plano coloured cls (from postoptics) for years but now cant get some without an eye test/cl check.

hence i have seen her, and her eyes look healthy. i havent done an assessment of the fit of the cls yet. she doesnt know what company they are or the spec so what do i do, tell her to get some from the website and then assess the fit??

I suppose so - but how can you dispense a cosmetic aid without knowing the fittings. Can't you sell her your colored lenses - like the freshlook ones?

i suppose i will have to get her to print off details from the net of the lenses she has. then i will have to get a trial pair ordered if i can (as she cant get any without a spec now) and then finally do a fitting.

then the px waves goodbye for a year!! what a farce.

personally Ziggy - whack her - yep get th trials - she pays - get her to use them for 3 months - then issue Rx after another checkup - she pays agn. She then can fly away - and you have made a friend as well.
