Does anyone recognise a temporal varifocal marking with 2 slanted capital "T"s in a horizontal oval?

(Px couldn't remember where he purchased them, so couldn't phone them to ask.)

SOunds like a VARTEK - Cheap lens that comes in a both long & short corridor version. Cost price around £7 per lens £12 for the short one

Vartek it is indeed..

Good all round lens.

Peformance is similar to Comfort. (bearing in mind that Comfort has been around in the same form for 12 years)

In any case it shouldnt matter if you have

a correct d rx

b correct add

c choose suitable frame

d measure hts correctly

e glaze lenses correctly

f fit well including p.a.t.

g correct....

I have heard that the vartek design is made using old comfort molds and that it is in fact comfort unbranded/rebranded. Has anyone any information on this i.e. is it true?

i use it as my low end progressive . Have only had 2 non-tol in 1 year .

Reading is smaller than the comfort.
