what is a fair price to charge for 1 day acuvue supplied on a regular basis (30 pairs a month) and including all aftercare and annual eye exam?

with the prices of the other daily disposables advertised so much cheaper, its hard to get people to upgrade to a 1 day acuvue if the price is so much different? any thoughts please?

we charge 35.00 per month,it is important to ensure that the patient is put on the 90 day packs, not the 30 day boxes.if you are an ACE practice

the 90 day packs are 25.50 each.

online price is around 30.00 per month

so 35.00 is not unreasonable .

we charge £32.50 for acuvue based on 90 pack supplies and £25 for all the rest. i still say let us all (indies) get together and start getting better prices.

thanks for the replies so far. we are just trying to make sure we get our prices right and not under/over charge. what amount of profit is reasonable to make from a c/l patient over a 12 month period?

we aim for around 100.00p/a profit from

our c/l patients.

around 60.00 in fees and 40.00 from the

lenses.
