Px seen recently suffering from 'inclusion body myositis'. Apparently quite rare.

Query 1, He knows his legs are affected and arms may be affected in future, Doesthis also affect extraocular muscles? He has the wierdest motility I've seen in a very long time, and as he is new to the practice I don't know how wierd it was before. Wife says there is a recent change with eyes being doolally.

Query 2, should I refer him to orthoptist to assess, or just inform GP?

He suppresses one eye so no diplopia.

Thanks all of you
