hamblin purvis ophthalmoscope
Sep 02, 2005 21:47:46 I am interested in acquiring a hamblin ophthalmoscope -I think the y have not been made for a while. They had a lens chain rather like a specialist. were they any good ? It is for a little collection I am making |

The requirement when they were made, by Hamblin Instruments, is that they should be tough enough to withstand being dropped down a liftshaft by a junior doctor in the eye department. Check the bottom of the lift-shafts at the Radcliffe in Oxford. PS Palfi, you are the guy who can make a ret out of 2 used bolts, a car battery and a second hand pushchair, why do you need a Hamblin Ophthalmoscope? |
