GOC(Opticians Act), Customs, and 'foreign' sellers
Oct 04, 2005 15:31:48 What I meant is that does UK customs & exercise apply VAT to contact lenses bought from lets say USA. Does it mean that if any of our patients buy contact lenses from a US website, customs will charge VAT?
Does anyone also know whether the GOC, has the power to check whether any contact lenses reaching UK soils by post, bought from overseas, comply with the amended Opticians Act? |
