We have a critically aware patient who has an old Giorgio Armani 362 frame 51x17, and is happy with his Zeiss Lantals.Current Rx RE -13.25DS LE 12.00DS. He wants a new frame, just as deep as this one, 49mm wide 43mm deep- we have supplied a less deep frame, but he finds this unacceptable- he is unable to tolerate the 'empty area' beneath the frame.

Does anyone have any ideas who we could use to repliate the frame (handmade)or a suitable alternative?

Can you not reglaze? "Critically aware patients" are often difficult to please!

Try adding more panoscopic tilt to the frame so he can not look under it?

I think that increasing the pantoscopic angle may give greater non-tol probs especially optically based on the prescription and type of lenses that he is wearing.

I think that you may need to re-order a new pair of lenses and have the frame made by Premier Optical
