Anti-muscarinics are used in the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the anterior segment e.g. iritis. Can someone explain how this works?

anti muscarinic, like a cholinergic blocker dilates the pupil. Therefore helps with pain as it stops ciliary spasm. It also helps prevent posterior synechie.
