Normally fluid? -Topical anaesthetic drops applied specifically to the affected area on a sterile cotton bud to intensify the effect. Puncture with sterile scalpel & scrape out debris. Chloramphen drops 3x daily - prophylaxis for 7 days & then check. Should be OK, if not check your insurance & up the antibiotic for another 7 days. Resume C/L wear 10 days later & follow up soon. Fees Px on all inclusive package of A/Care :N/C.

Standard package £30 including drugs. Pt buying from S/Mkt or off I/net £100 plus drugs.

This sort of treatment can be done in co-management privately on private healthcare insurance by referring to GP & requesting back referral offering to treat via BUPA, Norwich Union or whichever other Health Care insurer the Px may have providing you register with that insurer as an Optometric Therapeutic Provider in advance - check the inurers' web-sites for details.
