Just got back from this year's excellent hospital optometrists conference, and having a look through some of the many useful bits and pieces I picked up from trade stands.

Bausch and Lomb have produced an updated version of their "minims" poster, which has a really good summary of information about each drug.

I was surprised and a bit concerned to note that minims "proxymetacaine and fluorescein" is listed as "not available for use by optometrists"!

I hope I haven't been missing something this obvious since I qualified, but have been having problems trying to clarify the position with these drugs from online sources, AOP, college websites etc.

Would appreciate any info from drugs/legislation experts.

Lisa
