I'm sure I have read recently about a supplement without beta carotene in which is suitable for smokers.Does anybody know the name and is it available in the UK?All info found so far only seems to relate to US.Many thanks.

Yes -I read this in the Daily Mail a few weeks ago - I am sure. I don't know if its available here = I looked in Boots today - and didnot see it.

Mind you - what would be the point in taking it and still smoking ? Wouldn't it be cheaper to pack in the fags and then let the health benefit kick in!

Funny enough was reading some info about this today. Try www.viteyes.co.uk, they have two different smokers' formulations and all seems to be based on the AREDS study results. Hope that helps!
