Mar 13, 2005 18:41:32 I use sauflon delta solution for RGP solutions. Having looked at the delta cleaners ingredients, it says it contains "amphoteric surfactants", what exactley are these? i cant find much information on these regarding contact lens solutions |

Mar 13, 2005 19:11:32 Dont quote me on this-but i think it works with an anionic surfactant to aid in the removal of proteins & lipids. It produces a salt formation which means no preservative is required or the amphoteric surfactant (which means it can be anionic or cationic depending on the pH of the sol) will be catinoic to act as the preservative. |
