is 2 drops of 0.5% the same as 1 drop of 1%??

in which situations which do you use each of these?

thanks!

not really, that's because the eye can only take a tiny amount at a time. So one drop of 1% is not quite as effective a two drops of 0.5%, spaced at a 5 minute interval.

1% is used for cycloplaegia, as you know, with 0.5% for very young or very blue eyes (which absorb more)
