Dilations on myopes and BV
Nov 26, 2006 17:27:37 I have a few random questions. Any help would be much appreciated: 1. What are your thoughts are on dilating myopes? Do you stick to a rule of thumb, i.e. dilate asymtomatic patients above a particular level of myopia? 2.Do you carry out Maddox Rod and Maddox Wing routinely or do you simply rely on findings from cover test. I know its useful in quantifying the degree of phoria, but it does take time in the routine. 3.Does everyone use RAF rule to measure Amplitude of Accommodation and NPC? Does anyone use any other techniques, which could save a bit of time? 4. I am finding it difficult to differentiate between drusen and exudates, especially when examining the mid peripheral fundus. Any advice? 5. I did a distance cover test on a patient and found an XOP, but on fixation disparity recorded an eso slip??? Many thanks |
