Colour Vision Problem
Feb 08, 2007 15:01:44 I'm a pre-reg and have quite poor colour vision - protanomolous mostly. I have difficulty visualsing some retinal problems. Recently I saw a Px who had previously documented choroidal naevi, but I'm pretty sure I would not have spotted this were it not for the previous notes. I did Optomap imaging, and even then it wasnt very apparant, unless using the red only scan. If I use a strong red filter, this also helps. Is this a known problem? Is there anything I can do? Maybe it's just inexperience? Any ideas please? |

RE: Colour Vision Problem
Feb 08, 2007 21:59:20 I find using a red free filter helps by increasing contrast. A yellow filter also is useful. Yes - as you say experience will help very much. |
