retinoscopy.
Jun 25, 2007 13:52:23 I always learn in uni never to use my right eye for px left eye in retinoscopy, rather to move round and use left eye for px left eye. I have been recently told by an optometrist that it is actually not practicle to move around the room to be able to ret with left eye to left eye. What are your thoughts on this? |

Jun 26, 2007 06:43:07 In the routine exam do as you were taught at Uni, examiners will mark you down otherwise. After you have passed the exam you can then decide yourself if you have enough room in your various consulting rooms to use either eye. personally I always use my right eye because of the difficulty in terms of space in my consulting rooms but this is not what I did to pass my Routine! |
