Jun 25, 2007 16:18:13 Can sodium cromoglicate be used for treatment of contact lens related papillary conjunctivitis (classed as a pharmacy medicine that is) or is it only classed as a pharmacy medicine for acute seasonal/perennial allergic conjunctivitis. Would the management simply be discontinue lens wear, or can we combine this with use of clarityn eye drops?I'm unsure of this is a P or POM medicine. Also when prescribing high adds for low vision patients, what is the formula for calculating the base in prism required, say for a +8.00 add. Thanks for anyone's help. |
