I prefer to use a working distance lens, so I know straight away what the movement represents (particularly on small Rx's). I do appreciate this produces more reflections etc, but as a whole find using a W.D. more useful.

I know some examiners dont like the use of a W.D. lens, so I'm just wondering is it acceptable to use it or will it be frowned upon.

Many thanks

If you are happy with your way of doing it - then so will be the examiners. I am sure they won't frown on such a good idea.
