Hi all.

I was just wondering about the Assement Board who meet to discuss the Scheme for Registration Candidates.

How much does the Work Placed Assessment come into the decision making process? I.e. if there was something that was not achieved in the Final Assessment, is it still possible to pass based on Work Place Assessment Results?

Thanks in advance.

The Assessment Board looks at the overall performance of all candidates who fail one or more sections of the Final Assessment, including their performance in the Work-based Assessment.

Whilst a candidate who performed badly in the Final Assessment could not pass on the Work-based Assessment results alone, evidence from the Work-based Assessment coupled with evidence from the different Sections of the Final Assessment can contribute to the decision to pass a candidate.

Many thanks for clearing that up for me.
