Hi can anyone help me with interpreting a hess screen plot?

this is not difficult - best to sk library to loan you a book - like Pickwells bin vision. A normal eye will see right out to the edges. An eye with a damaged muscle action will have reduced movement in the area of its action - and an overaction in the other eye. The Hess screen has cribs marking the muscle actions.

It is useful to be able to interpret a Hess however this would not usually be tested in the PRP and frankly there are a lot more important skills to learn before mastering Hess screens. However I'd agree with Stephen that there are plenty of good texts on this, although I'd personally recommend the more Ophthalmological/orthoptic texts as they use Hess much more than we do.
