Conference: Supporting People with Sight Loss & Stroke

Topics covered at the conference will include:

  • sight loss and stroke
  • stroke and vision epidemiology
  • visual screening and assessment of vision
  • the impact of sight loss on the individual activities of daily living
  • stroke related eye conditions and advances in rehabilitation

The conference will be of interest to:

  • Managers of Services for older people
  • Social Workers and practitioners supporting people with strokes
  • Social Workers and practitioners supporting visually impaired people
  • NHS and PCT specialist nursing staff supporting older people, visually impaired people or stroke survivors
  • Occupational Therapists and Rehabilitation Officers for the visually impaired
  • Assistant Rehabilitation Officers
  • Staff from voluntary organisations supporting visually impaired people, stroke survivors and older people.

Speakers will include experienced senior practitioners working in the field of stroke and visual impairment and visually impaired stroke survivors who will share their experience as expert patients.

 

Places £135 per delegate
