The College of Optometrists and Replay Media Ltd are pleased to announce the sale and acquisition of the monoptica website.

The College of Optometrists' newly formed trading subsidiary Monoptica Ltd has recently purchased the site from Replay. Chris Edmonds, Managing Director of Replay commented, "we are extremely pleased that the College has acquired monoptica as it seems the natural organisation to continue to oversee, develop and enhance an already very successful web information service. It will allow us to concentrate on developing the successful NetLectures CET programme and our fast-growing 'virtual lecture' services."

Frank Munro, President of the College said, "we are delighted to have acquired monoptica because it fits exactly into our strategy of enhancing the information flowing through not only the profession, but our industry as a whole."
