Commission for Patient & Public Involvement in Health

21 November 2005

The Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health has been established to develop a new system to ensure greater public involvement in decisions about health and the wider health agenda.
They are currently undertaking the first stage of their recruitment process which is to meet the government target of at least seven Forum members in place in each of the 575 NHS Trusts and PCTs in England by the 1st of December 2003. This equates to approximately 4,600 people. The process has been specifically designed to be fully inclusive and they are committed to equality, diversity and the inclusion of people from hard to reach groups.

Application packs can be obtained by contacting Miss Val Croft on 0121 345 6136 or visit the website www.maketimeforhealth.org
