College Reduces Ticket Price at Silver Jubilee Dinner Thanks to Sponsorship
13 January 2005
As part of the celebrations to mark its Silver Jubilee, and forming part of its 2-day Annual Conference, the College is holding a Silver Jubilee Dinner at the Imperial War Museum North, Manchester, on Sunday 20 March 2005.
Tickets, which were initially priced at £65 each, have been reduced to £50 thanks to sponsorship from TOPCON and Silhouette. Tickets are available to Members, Non-members and commercial organisations. Block bookings are also available.
Guests will enjoy a champagne reception and three-course meal in the main exhibition area of the museum, followed by live local entertainment. A complimentary shuttle-bus to and from the centre of Manchester (Palace Hotel) will also be laid on at the beginning and end of the evening. The award winning Imperial War Museum North was built by Daniel Libeskind (who was recently commissioned to design the Ground Zero in New York) and was opened to the general public in 2002. It is an exciting and contemporary venue, and has been nominated for numerous architecture awards including the prestigious Stirling Prize for Architecture.
Marketing Manager, Rich Gott, commented: ‘We are looking forward to a very special evening and tickets are selling fast. Thanks to the support of Topcon and Silhouette, we hope even more Members, and others, will be able to join us at the Conference Silver Jubilee Dinner'
